In the past recent years that\u00a0followed the invention of\u00a0\u2018Agile Manifesto\u2019, which\u00a0was written in a manner of\u00a0great laconism, the IT\u00a0industry has flourished\u00a0inevitably on Agile Methodology. The existing\u00a0IT organisations are waking\u00a0up to the conveniences and efficiencies provided by\u00a0Agile, and on the other\u00a0hand the blooming\u00a0organisations and start-ups\u00a0are already taking the less-hurdled\u00a0approach; the old<\/em> traditional way of doing\u00a0things is now not the smart<\/em> way of doing things.
\nOn the similar lines, Agile\u00a0Methodology has revolutionized the testing\u00a0part of software development. As crucial as\u00a0it is, testing had been a\u00a0subject of not much\u00a0importance for a significant\u00a0period of time until the\u00a0presence of fierce\u00a0competition was realized in\u00a0the market. Long last, the\u00a0focus shifted to the quality\u00a0of products and, alas, saved\u00a0the entire population of\u00a0testers!<\/p>\n

How Agile is Helpful in Testing<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Exposure:<\/strong><\/em> While in the traditional software development model, testing takes a backseat
\nand is often skipped to complete the project deadlines; in an Agile environment testing is
\nnot only a mandatory phase but also goes on, in parallel, as long as the project lasts.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Absolute Involvement:<\/strong><\/em> Agile methodology is a continuously engaging methodology. From
\nProject Owners to Project Managers, to Team Leads, Developers, and to testers, at all times
\nhave to be well-familiar about the state and business changes of the project. As a result of
\nwhich, the testing team, at any point in the software development life cycle, knows as
\nmuch as any other team member does.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Personal Growth:<\/strong><\/em> Top-notch quality of the product is one of the many important objectives
\nof Agile. It gives testers a chance to be creative and proactive in nature to keep up with the
\nupcoming business requirements which adds on to the personal growth of the tester.<\/p>\n

How Testing is Helpful in Agile<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Revised Quality:<\/strong><\/em> The overall impact of testing builds the quality of the software product. The
\nproduct goes to multiple iterations of testing before the completion, and each iteration
\nensures the fineness of the product.<\/p>\n

2. Reduced Risk:<\/em><\/strong> The incremental-&-iterative nature of Agile helps the stakeholders learn
\nabout the possible risks and flaws early in the process. Testers try with all their might to find
\nthe loopholes in the system in each iteration, thereby preventing those errors to go further
\nin the next iterations. There is never a guarantee that there will be no surprises, but
\ncontinuous rounds of regression testing greatly minimize failures.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Thorough Testing:<\/strong><\/em> Testing does not deal with the functional aspect of the system alone but
\nit revolves around the overall system. Performance, security and user-interface are also of
\nthe great importance to clients and end-users. Organisations, now a days, cannot get away
\nwith the functional testing alone, testing team needs to be jack of all trades.<\/p>\n
